Demo account

The demo account in the Tiger.com web terminal is a demo mode of the Binance spot market. Trade calculations follow spot market rules; virtual funds are used. To add a demo account with a balance of 10,000 USDT, use the «➕» button in the accounts list.

How to use

The demo account is suitable for learning and first steps: it can be used to practice basic actions — opening and closing trades; configuring Stop Loss and Take Profit; testing Smart Trades and checking how they are displayed in the terminal interface.

The demo account helps test trading ideas and portfolios: build a portfolio of multiple assets, place buy orders, and track portfolio performance over time without risking real funds. A separate account can support a blogger, a signal channel, or an individual strategy: replicate trades from a selected source and evaluate actual performance using statistics for a given period — making it easier to determine which signals match the chosen trading style.

Experienced traders use the demo account to test new strategies without deposit risk; adjust terminal function parameters (for example, Trailing Stop Loss or Trailing Take Profit) for different market conditions; and analyse strategy behaviour across different market phases.

Features

• trading is performed on a virtual balance, real funds are not used;

• real market quotes are used, but demo-account orders do not enter the exchange order book and do not participate in the common order queue;

• during sharp price movements, execution of trades on the demo account may differ from how it would occur on a real account;

• in narrow price ranges, strategies that actively place orders may show more executions on the demo account than on the real market;

• trading results on the demo account are treated as a model of strategy behaviour rather than a guaranteed outcome on a real account.

Limitations

False sense of confidence. On the demo account it is easier to ignore mistakes and overestimate successful series of trades, so results should be analysed as carefully as if trading were done with real money.

No full emotional load. Risk-free trading does not provide experience in managing stress; therefore, when switching to a real account, psychological factors may significantly affect performance, even if the strategy showed stable profits on the demo account.
